What is Google AdSense?
AdSense can be one of the fastest and easiest ways to monetize traffic to your website, whether you have products or services for sale or simply provide free content to your visitors.
Simply put, Google AdSense allows website operators to place some code on their site that connects to Google's ad server's content database and pulls keyword-relevant advertising on web pages. The webmaster receives a percentage of the rate that Google receives from the advertiser each time a visitor clicks on an ad. All costs are covered by the advertiser who participates in the AdSense partner program called AdWords.
It reports its findings to Google's ad server, which then serves ads that match those keywords. Since the entire process is automated, "ad bots" do a good job of making ad content correct most of the time.
The history of Google AdSense
Google AdSense has its roots in the old "Google Content Oriented Advertising" program that they introduced in March 2003.
As Google grew, they began to see how much money they were leaving on the table by excluding the smallest sites, which greatly outnumbered sites that offered more than 20 million visits and were willing to serve other people's ads. His answer to that problem was AdSense, which has no minimum traffic requirements and is open to all sites that meet Google's decency and content requirements.
How much can you earn by running Google AdSense?
The answer to that question depends on three factors:
- How much traffic your site attracts
- How many visitors click on your ads?
- How much do those ads pay per click generated?
With some ads that pay up to $ 5 or more, you may be able to generate significant income with AdSense. There are relatively well-documented cases of some people making up to $ 500 a DAY and more. However, numbers like that are rare exceptions. Still, there is no reason why you can't make around $ 1,000 per month, or more, once you get the hang of it.

Visit the Google AdSense site (https://www.google.com/adsense/) and sign up. Be sure to read their Acceptable Use Policy and follow their content requirements. Google has its own "AdSense Police" that will have no problem kicking you out of the program if you don't follow the line.
Using Google AdSense on your site is like collecting money for free. There is no reason not to do it and potentially thousands of dollars of reasons to do it.
