How Companies Fight Spyware Together.
To increase consumer Internet security and provide a complete security kit, Microsoft partnered with OPSWAT Inc. to develop and integrate the two companies' software. Their goal of working together is to provide security solutions for Microsoft and OPSWAT customers so that they are protected against a wide range of malicious software.
Working together, OPSWAT will develop an Endpoint Security Kit for Microsoft Network Access Protection. The result will allow mutual customers of the two companies to integrate the security capabilities of the OPSWAT software with those of Windows. This will allow consumers to choose their security components while still having a single security solution.
OPSWAT officials have said that their Endpoint Security Kit provides a uniform interface for consumers, which is a relief from the myriad options of other firewall, antivirus, and antispyware programs that can become difficult to manage. The Endpoint Security system includes a complete suite.
